Cynthia Freck RN has over 20 years of experience in working in a skilled nursing facility. She began her career as a CNA although she enjoyed working as a CNA the desire to become a nurse led her to become an LPN. After working as an LPN, she went back to school and obtained her associate degree in nursing from Brown Mackie College. After obtaining her RN she chose to work as a staff development coordinator and obtained her SPICE certification in North Carolina. Cynthia transitioned into the role of Director of Nursing in 2016 in her facility in her home state of North Carolina. Cynthia and her family relocated to Florida in 2021 and she continued her career in long term care. She obtained her Infection Control certification in Florida in 2022. Cynthia began her career at Carrollwood Care Center in March of 2022. Cynthia attributes her passion for caring for others and her love for working in long-term care to her early experiences volunteering in with her mother in the long-term care facility that she worked at. This experience allowed her to interact with the elderly population and those residents that needed short-term care as well. It was and remains a rewarding experience to be able to care for others in their time of need.

Melanie has led her team at Carrollwood Care Center for 3 years, fostering a positive work culture.
